Panna Cotta

Very light dessert! This is one way to reuse the jars that they hand out at Tong Sui Desserts & Drinks.

Recipe

Source: Sarah, Gazing In

Base:

  1. Pour 1/2 cup of the milk into a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin on top, let soften for 5 minutes.
  2. In a tall saucepan, heat remaining milk and flavorings on medium-high, to a simmer.
  3. Take it off the heat and whisk in gelatin mixture thoroughly.
  4. Divide into jars and refrigerate overnight.

Milk to gelatin ratio is about 3 cups to 2 tsp (which is about 1 packet of Knox gelatin)

Topping: On top of the panna cotta that's pictured, I added a gelatin + lychee + rosewater mixture that's inspired by Tong Sui's Rosie Lychee Coconut Pudding, if the coconut pudding were swapped for panna cotta.
