The soymilk maker is my favorite kitchen appliance. I used to drink black sesame milk (芝麻湖) and almond milk all the time as a kid. Mung bean milk was a summer treat, puported to have "cooling" properties according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Typically I add some sort of thickener {millet, quinoa}, plus some sweetener {dried jujube red dates}. Without these, depending on your choice of ingredients, e.g. sesame-only, the resulting milk can be thin and watery.
