My super short explanation is that RSS lets you follow blogs in an app of your choice. New posts arrive chronologically, without giving me your email address or trapping you in some subscription that makes unsubscribing weirdly hard/guilt-trippy.

Choose an RSS reader. Pretty popular options include <a href="https://feedly.com/news-reader">Feedly</a> and <a href="https://www.inoreader.com/">Inoreader</a>; if you have an Apple device you may fancy <a href="https://netnewswire.com/">NetNewsWire</a>.

Add this address to the reader:

You can also paste <code>https://jessicaruan.com</code> into most readers, and they should find the feed automatically.

That's it! New posts will appear in your reader whenever I publish them.
